Marco

In mid-air Marcovaldo extended a monstrance of bare stems and hundreds of hands, and shouts. The thick oooh’s of wonder turned from yellow to orange, then red, violet, blue, green, then yellow again, and then vanished.

Performed June 2013 for 'ROOTS of CHANGE: Art for Impact,'

Marco was a devised theatre piece inspired by a short story written by Italo Calvino in his novel, 'Marcovaldo.'
